Now, Eudora WILL connect to gmail, and there are obviously a boatload of messages on the gmail server that it could not download before. One gmail forum member suggested I just switch to gmail off-line, but I like the way Eudora organizes my messages. I now can at least access gmail through web mail, but why would it refuse to connect to Eudora all of a sudden?
I assumed this was a gmail problem, but when I went to their forum there was no hue and cry, so it presumably wasn't a wide-spread issue - just me! No change.įor a while yesterday, I could not even access gmail via the web. I tried NOT checking email for various of the personalities. I hadn't changed any settings anywhere, so I was stumped.
