I can't replicate this issue in Photoshop, Camera RAW, Capture One 20 or Luminar 4, even Windows Explorer gives me a thumbnail preview, my work around is to convert the files to another format e.g. If I take photographs using either UNCOMPRESSED OR LOSSLESS COMPRESSED open them in Affinity Photo no issues, however if I attempt to open the COMPRESSED version of the RAW file all I get is a an image that's split 50/50 down the middle on one side it's totally black and on the other side it's totally white. menu of the X-T4 there's a menu labelled 'RAW RECORDING' with 3 options: UNCOMPRESSED, LOSSLESS COMPRESSED AND COMPRESSED.
